Hi everyone, I'm new here, I thought this could be a good place to ask this, I have been reading this forum for a while and I see people here know a lot about what brings me to post today.
I have acquired a 35mm reel of a rather rare film, (I can't name it yet for legal reasons) and I wish to have it transfered to the highest possible format/resolution, 2k or 4k. I am a complete neophyte regarding the technical aspect of film transfers, and I was wondering if maybe some of you guys could give me any tip about what to do, where/how to have it done, what errors to avoid when having a (rather costly) transfer of the kind executed, etc...
Any help would be more than welcome and I will gladly share the end product here with everyone by the way. Thankx!

You should visit http://amps.boards.net - there you will find many OT users, really expert in this field; I think poita is the Jedi Master of the 35mm prints, so just read everything he posted there to learn the basis of the argument.
