thank you for your nice comments. Any disc art is much appreciated. You may post it here (via imageshack e.G.) or send it directly to me via email (my email address is in my info). If good enough I will include it in the next upload of the edits AND of course you will be credited in our next edit.
You are absolutely right about the fades vs. cuts in WOTW TEC. It would have been better to cut instead of fading (we used fading to show that time has passed and time is of no meaning anymore, but somehow it didn't work out 100%). The death of Ray's son is just like it is in the original, what I suppose is striking you, is that he and his daughter are very fast inside the cellar and they don't grieve long enough. Unfortunately we did not have any material for that, so this feels a bit rushed.

The PSD are higher Res (1550*1550 except Dezinonized 748*748 and 27dl 641*641) and available at http://kartracer.free.fr/cbb/psd/. Didn't have time to rename the layers but they're clean otherwise.

I was limited on the CBB Logo since all I had as a source was the different covers.

Unbelievably, these graphics 'artists' are paid for work as bad as the above cover.

I'm interested to see what you've done with this movie too. It was a fun throwaway movie and <looks around to check wife isn't reading >, certainly can't complain about Jennifer Garner.


This is something I've actually noticed on a bunch of dvds, In my opinion the original release cover (the edition before the fun and flirty edition) had much nicer artwork. Its not the first time I've seen worse artwork on a 'Special Edition' (just meaning more extras etc on the disc) release than on the original 'barebones' (at least more bare bones then the later release editions) release.

Very nice artwork there Agilis, Ill have to reburn the ones i have (matrix, 13 to 30) on printable discs.

Since im posting might as well comment on the 13 to 30 edit (as its the only one ive seen). I thought it was good, wish the cut scenes were available in a better quality as it would have made it seemless. I didnt even notice the removed scenes until i watched them in the extras. And I agree that parts of the original opening/closing would have been better than the one they used in the movie, its a shame they had to go and use a different cast

@Boon23 : Here you go !
You'll find on the server two versions of each disc, one with the round grey mask (_m) and one without (_f).

Feel free to add them to the upcoming releases but as far as credits are concerned, I only modified YOUR covers to fit on a Disc except for Matrix where I took a wallpaper, of which I am not the author, and tweeked it a tad, so it's your call but I don't feel I did much.

But since there was no disc art at all, and yours looks fine, especially DeZIONized ,Boogeyman and 13 to 30 EXTRAFLIRTY, I am just enjoying to have someone willing to help.

And... then... if you want to do something: how about a DVD cover art and disc art in french for HIGH TENSION - MINUS ONE EDIT?

I'm currently downloading your "13 going on 30 - Fun & Flirty edit" from TPB and was wondering if there was any chance of some extra seeders jumping on this? I'm slowly chugging along at 4.9Kb/s I've been only this nearly a week so far Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx for your comment, simon, you are right about the picture quality of the deleted scenes, still they were just to good to be left out (storywise). I also wanted the quitting scene in, but it just did not fit anywhere. Jennifer wears a coat and enters the POISE building where her boyfriend awaits her. There was no scene to make that meeting possible. Pity.

We made it on WIKIPEDIA:
A fan-made edition, titled Creasy, is circulating the internet. It focuses solely on the character of Creasy, cutting out any scene that he doesn't appear in, as well as keeping the bleaker alternate ending. The running time is 40 minutes shorter, and viewers have mentioned how the film feels tighter-paced and more powerful than the original release.

Very interesting choices for the last two releases (and the forthcoming next two !).

I remember catching the original and not caring for the ending at all - in a way spoiling everything that had gone before.

In a Randy Jackson/American Idol way: "For me - not your best edit, but you did a good job dawg !"

Still wish you would max out more on the quality though and the use the fullest disc space possible - ala War of the Worlds (but I know that's not the point !).

thank you, meedermow, for your comment. It is funny you mention our War of the worlds edit as an example for better quality. Of course the disc size is 4.3 gigs there, BUT especially this edit was the one where we were not satisfied with the picture quality (somewhere above I explained what happened). For VIOLETS we used the same bitrate setting as for WOTW TEC with the difference we stayed with MPEG files this time, instead of recoding to uncompressed avi first (which always gave us an interlacing problem). Since there is much less movement in VIOLETS (the movie could be considered as rather calm), the size needed for the 97 minutes is much smaller, still the quality does not differ much from the original DVD (and this was an even worse DVD quality than War of the worlds, crispy picture, obviously taken from VHS master), we used more contrast and added some colour to get rid of the noisy and pale picture. What makes WOTW TEX so big is the extras actually, we had far more deleted scenes and the broadcast slideshow. So, although I do understand everyone (and you are by far not the first, meedermow) to ask for using the full capacity of a DVD, just because it sounds better, the quality would not differ much (believe me, we tried that), so we stick to small sizes for upload reasons. Hopefully you can still enjoy the outcome. AND if ever someone feels like creating an HQ version of one of our edits, feel absolutely free to do so, I would really love to see a dual-layer version of deZIONized for example.
