It's official: PSYCHO_DAYV will be our official CBB edits forwarder for all U.S.
He currently has the following edits:

Doomed by the boogeyman
High tension minus one edit
Jailbird

If you contact him via PM or email you can discuss all details on how to get your edit forwarded and what the costs for blanks and delivery are.

Depending on the speed of mail from Germany to USA, he will have all other CBB edits already in may. So this is your chance if you can't or don't download from the internet.

I JUST FINISHED WATCHING JAILBIRD, AND I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE EDIT THAT THE CBB GROUP PUT TOGETHER. I ONLY SAW ONE HARD CUT IN THE WHOLE MOVIE. THE SOUND AND PICTURE QUALITY BLOW AWAY ALL OF THE OTHER CBB EDITS THAT I'VE SEEN SO FAR. GOOD JOB, GUYS !!!

thank you, Dayv. I am really glad you liked it. ..and we will try to keep this quality of picture and sound, or even further improve it for all our edits. Ulead Media Studio pro 8 isn't that bad after all, if you stay with mpegs.

A little note to the CBB torent downloaders: I am not sure if some of the people who do NOT seed or even share the fanedit they just downloaded, visit this forum, but if you do: I seed all CBB edits people are still interested in and I spent about all my bandwith on it, but as soon as I realize some are just taking, I stop seeding right ahead. These edits are meant to be shared. If you don't you don't deserve to owe them.
If you have no bandwith to share torrents, then ask Psycho Dayv to send you a copy for the price of the blank and postage.

Just finished watching Jailbird. I can easily say this is one of the best movies you guys have put out. I haven't seen the original since it first came out, so I can't compare the two, but just watching it alone I was very impressed. Congrats on another job well done!!

Was/is Violets being seeded anywhere other than Demonoid?

I held on for days for the very last bit but everyone jumped ship and now the torrent has been deleted from Demonoid.

Can anyone help?

I think the idea of punters cuts that you CBB'ers have come up and are actually doing with is golf, but you would get much wider distro if you packaged them as DIVX, where its only 700MB to download a movie, not the 3 + gb of VOB files that I'm finding on the torrent sites. Do you have any plans to package your cuts as DivX in the future?

we are making DVDs. We spend a lot of time creating our menus, extras, subtitles, covers, etc. and we do that, because this way of presentation fits perfectly well to our expectations. In the beginning we made divx versions for our edits (last one was boogeyman), but they don't get downloaded more often than the full DVDs. And to have a DVD exactly the way you like it is better than just storing divx files on a harddrive or 5,6,7 movies on one DVD for backup or a divx player. Presentation matters to us. Style matters. Beauty matters. It makes all the efforts worthwhile.

I agree I think DVDs make these more special. Although you can now make a Divx file that has menus, mulitple audio/subtitle and extras. It's quite complicated though, at least to me.

I agree, I burn all my stuff to DVD anyways, and if they're released as DivX's it just lowers the quality as well as the presentation. I'd hate to lose those expertly designed menus and the great quality that is synonomous with CBB!

My $.02: While DVD is the best for quality, for bandwidth reasons I don't randomly download every DVD edit I find.

Heck I first saw DeZionized as a Divx rip and it allowed me to decide if I really wanted to go for the full disc or not.

Divx is good for us lower bandwidth slops that want to sample before we dive all in.

That's another good point, I also cherry pick what fanedits I DL on DVD. Sometimes I give them a miss unless I really want to see them.

IF YOU'RE IN THE U.K. SEND MEEDERMOW A PM. FOR ALL OTHERS SEND ME A PM. WE'LL GET THE CBB GROUP EDITS TO YOU. MEEDERMOW MAY ASK YOU FOR TO PAY FOR THE COST OF A BLANK DISC AND SHIPPING WHICH IS VERY MUCH HIS RIGHT TO DO SO, BUT THEN AGAIN HE MAY NOT. I, ON THE OTHER HAND, DO NOT CHARGE FOR EITHER.
