That's what you're doing ... trolling. I think your trolling is pretty pointless ... there are scores of Star Wars sites teeming with people who share your opinions on these DVDs, George Lucas' revised "visions," and the prequels. This site is not one of them ... if it was, I'd be banned by now (and I haven't even posted very much here yet).
I came here to find like-minded fans of the original films who share my contempt for and disappointment with George's constant meddling. Even at IMDB, the like-minded individuals I saw were few and far between. I did not register here to read the same old "Lucas is an infallible God" line that, quite frankly, I believe is contributing to the destruction of everything that was ever good about Star Wars. Low expectations reap lowly products.
So instead of "trolling" here and whining about the reactions you've received, why aren't you sticking to websites that you know agree with you?
Gee, I read somewhere that the purpose of this site was to get Lucas to release the O-OT's on DVD. Where was that at? Oh yeah, right here:
Our goal is to persuade Mr. Lucas to reconsider his decision.
Now, do you really think calling the guy a "lunatic" is going to presuade him of anything?
