It does piss me off we are getting pan scan copies on DVD but not the original trilogy. I blame fox for this. Lucas hates pan scan probably more then the original versions. Why he released The Phantom Menace widescreen only at first and why he has an article at Starwars.com encouraging you to buy the widescreen version. Id take an unfinished movie over a cut up one anyday.
