I really like that Machete Kills clip. It matches just fine at that speed and distance and in B&W. However, I'm not sure that's the best way to portray it. The desert scenery is nice, but a split second later there are buildings with a woman and a droid in the scene. It just seems to suddenly go from desert canyon road to the village of Anchorhead. I'd recommend instead of changing the scenery to desert wilderness, try to show at least the outskirts of the village. Even a building or two barely visible in the lower left corner implying just entering Anchorhead would help it match better.
I'd also recommend a little more of the woman yelling scene. If you showed more from the first part of the scene with her walking, then Luke zooming past her, it would also make the change in scenery a bit more believable. Also, it just seems to sudden to me personally: she's there, she's gone. That's all my humble opinion of course. I'm loving the way this edit is shaping up and I can't wait to see how it looks in the end.
As an additional noted that I didn't mention at FE, I don't know if you've ever followed my deleted scenes project, but I did release it recently. There are numerous little tiny clips that might be of interest to you in that project. At some point I need to do better at organizing it and describing what is present in some of the clips (for instance, in one of the BD behind the scenes clips, there are brief instances of Wedge speaking with Denis Lawson's voice instead of the American dub, and they are lines spoken in the movie, but only heard over the intercom rather than seen in the cockpit, i.e. "My scope shows the tower, but I can't see the exhaust port."). Don't know if that interests you, since the major clips you already have I imagine.
