This year I'll get to experience Halloween in a huge college town, should be exciting to say the least.

Honestly, I've been through two Halloweens in a college town, and, maybe it's simply because I don't party, but it didn't really seem like anything more special than regular Halloweens.

Still, there is a hell of a lot of people at UNC, and it isn't spread out like most college towns. For one thing, it IS the town.

This is my first Halloween in America (we have it in England but not on anywhere near the same scale). I am planning on dressing up as Han Solo so I need to start tracking down items for my costume.

Actually my Grandmother is a seamstress, but alas she is thousands of miles away in England. However, if I sent her the pattern I'm sure she would be able to get it done and sent to me by October, bless her heart. So yes, please send me the pattern.

And I'm willing to spend a fair chunk of change to have a Han Solo outfit. I'm not about to go out and buy an exact replica of his blaster, but I want it to look pretty damn close.

These are the cheapest blasters I could ever find without sacrificing durability(you can display it after you use it for halloween, which is how I'd justify the price)
