Shim, I know I've already debated with you on this point in another thread, and so I won't bring up that particular argument again. I just want to say that I do believe that organized religion has done more harm than good, overall. It also served as a guiding light through the Dark Ages, until the Renaissance came along. There are hundreds of millions of people that would definitely disagree with you, myself included. Religion doesn't started wars; a few screwed-up higher-echelon people with a skewed perception of said religion start wars.

hahaha its funny when i jsut read your post it reminded me of the quote "guns dont kill people, people kill people"
your right thought it did serve as a beacon of light throught the dark ages, but, what might have happened i wonder if religion didnt have that same iron hold on the world through the dark ages. think of how much history could have eben saved. i donno if i agree with the, but its been said that if the roman empire hadnt colapsed and the dark ages hadnt occured a renossance kinda event would have occured 1000 years before so in like 600 AD rather then 1600 AD. alas i do remember debating you, hahaha so we'll leave it at that. you can rebute but i probably wont counter with another point
