Well, you’re not totally wrong about that. I don’t know Ady’s plans for ROTJ but I’ve recently made some changes to the audio track in order to remove the “cartonnish” stuff (Chewie’s tarzan scream - that’s way it’s more aligned with Hal’s Episode III -, and the funny sounds when Luke gets rid of the Speeder and when the Walker loses balance during the battle of Endor). I’ve used Q2’s hybrid version so there wasn’t any need to remove the burps because it was already taken care of. Does it improve the movie ? Not much, but it’s less dumb that way without making radical changes. Radical changes that seem impossible to implement (or you get a 90 minutes action movie as the main saga conclusion…).
