I’m just freaking tired of all the shitposting about Japanese animation. Is that okay with all of you?
I’m sure there are plenty of Japanese animators who don’t produce anime, and they’re probably fine pieces of animation.
Strikes me as a bit silly to assume that Japanese people can only create anime-style animation.
When I say that anime is bad, I’m directly insulting that one style of animation, not broadly insulting all animation or all Japanese people. That’s one style of animation being insulted.
This entire post is silly. Anime refers to Japanese animation. Not a style. And there are many different art styles that have been used in various anime by various artists; some Japanese comics and animated series have even changed art styles throughout their original run. So you actually can’t insult just one style of animation if you call it anime.
To say that anime is simply a style of animation would mean that Avatar: The Last Airbender is anime. It’s not, because it’s not Japanese.
By saying all anime sucks, you are condemning all Japanese animated media.
Then add the other side, which is where I am included. You not only said that anime was bad, but you also said that watching/enjoying a piece of Japanese animation is clear evidence immaturity. That is quite insulting as well.
Well I think he has been proven right about the immaturity thing, at least.
And now I’m certain you are not very mature yourself.
