Are the 3.0 versions that Harmy is (presumably) working on planned to be the “final” versions of the movies? Also, do we know which Harmy is working on currently?
Nothing is ever final. There’s always new sources coming in, problems being found, etc. The only question is long Harmy’s patience will last–so far, so good.
He’s working on 2.5 of Empire right now. I believe that’s the last of the 2.x series before moving to 3.x.

well, there will probably never be a ‘final’ despecialized, but 3.0 is going to be a 1080p project (2.x is 720p). The last update i heard was that Harmy is still working on ESB 2.5

Heh, no. I’m hoping for this year. But things slide. Predictions have proven to be fairly futile in the past, Harmy himself was once off by over a year when predicting his own release.

Verbatim discs have come. I already could tell the quality difference once I opened them. They burned quickly and verified successfully. So far Iv burned two njvc 25 gb doc discs and have had no problem so far. I’m very satisfied and plan on ordering a pack of 50gb discs.
Has anyone thought of making a blu Ray cover for a 4-disc case of the trilogy documentaries and the “SW Trilogy” Documentaries disc. It could be titled “Star Wars Documentaries” and match the philsder set. I apologize for the inquiry, I just have no idea how to create covers. Thanks!
Hi. Iv’e been reading and following for a long time. I have all previous versions of Harmy’s Despecialized editions. I would love to get these new versions with the menus and extra content. I’ve never been able to find them on any torrent sites, and have only heard people talking about getting them from MySpleen. It would be great if any members could give me any info as to how to get these, or offer me an invite to MySpleen. Thanks. And I love all the custom artwork some of you guys have made. Looking forward to adding these versions and using some of the great disc and case artwork I’ve found on here.

Hey everybody. Is there a torrent available for this set anywhere? I’ve been a very big fan of the projects going on here at originaltrilogy.com and greatly appreciate all the hard work everyone puts into them. I usually stop by a few times a year to see what’s new. Anyway, can’t go to myspleen for this though. About a year ago I was very thankful that I was allowed to join mysleen where I was finally was able to download all of Harmy’s Despecialized editions. About a month later I went back to and It seemed they deleted my account for some reason. I don’t believe I had done anything wrong and was very careful to follow the rules and make sure my upload ratio was over 2.0. It’s a private site so they have the right to do that i guess. alas myspleen really isn’t an option for me anymore and it’s doesn’t seem to be on Pb.

Would anyone mind whipping up a quick disc label for the ANH documentaries to go with JMoomer’s/SteveE’s set? SteveE skipped ANH because JMoomer had already done it, but JMoomer omitted the documentaries in favor of Revisited. I finally got my hands on a functional printer that can do discs, so I’d like to start putting this set together soon.
Started putting together my set. Waiting on some responses to a couple of PMs about alternate art before I print the other two, but here’s ESB. Lighting is terrible, but eh. Thanks to JMoomer and SteveE.
Probably going to redo the cover on thicker stock since the painting on the inside bleeds through to the front.
EDIT: It seems I need to clarify: when I said I was putting together “my” set, I just meant my particular discs that are going on my shelf. None of these are my designs; they were created by JMoomer and SteveE and posted a few pages earlier in the thread. I only posted photos because I thought folks might like to see what it looks like all put together.
Criterion styled, nice and appropriate choice. I like where this is going, and looking forward to seeing how the full set turns out.
