The Prequel dislike has softened because they have been pushed to the edge of the Star Wars franchise. Disney is clearly taking an OT-first policy in regards to classic content. Its not like when Lucas was still around and the PT was shoved down our throats. Its far easier to ignore them and therefore have less of a bitter taste.
