Like I said, I’m really curious how this plays into Episode VIII, if at all. Will the Resistance meet, ehem, resistance from other planets not wanting to support them because it’s led by “The children of the Sith”? Bloodlines also did a much better job of showing an ineffective Republic than the Prequels did, So I can reasonably see them supporting the First Order because they actually get stuff done (not to mention that Bloodline implied that the First Order held a good chunk of the Senate to begin with).
