Which software did you use to rip the blu-ray to AVI and WAV files? I’d love to know!

I just ripped some deleted scenes to mess with and figured out what I did to get my lossless avi.

First, I used MovieRescuer found here: http://www.videohelp.com/software/MovieRescuer to make a copy of the movie on my hard drive.

Second, I made an avisynth script to load the m2ts file into virtualdub 1.9.11 (other versions don’t work for me) and saved as AVI. This produces the lossless avi file.

Third, I used tranzcode to produce the wav files. I also have used audacity with the ffmpeg plugin to create pcm wav files.

Be prepared to have a 150gb of free space available for the lossless AVI file. Each audio channel is around 1.5gb. TFA is around 160gb in total with a lossless avi and pcm wav files. Hope that helps.

…the scene where the ground opens up between Kylo and Rey… Rey looks too small in this scene. Kylo looks twice her size as-is… if Rey can be enlarged a bit, I think it’ll look much more believable they are right next to eachother.

I just reviewed the scene and you were right. David and Goliath difference. I matched the cropping settings and now they are the correct heights. Thanks for catching that. 😃
