As big of a Superman fan I am, I don't like how Bryan Singer basically walked away from the X-Men franchise to do the new Superman film which has been in limbo for almost a decade. Director changes never bode well for franchises, particularly superhero ones.

As for Spider-Man, I agree that another Spidey vs. Goblin would just be repetitive. Not to mention if and when Harry becomes a Goblin the costume must undergo some SERIOUS changes, as the first suit was RIDICULOUS. Raimi recently said he might be up for a 4th film after all, so maybe that's when the Peter/Harry thing will be resolved, with Spider-Man facing off against a couple of lesser villians (the Lizard and Sandman?) in 3.
