1) Patrick Stewart

4) I can understand what people are saying.
I'm not against watching it in Japanese. Infact, I intend to over Spring Break next week. But I doubt my family would be too apreciative of that. They think me watching things in Japanese is weird period. I just meant it was weird that you only watch it in Japanese.
Actually, I have watch about the first half hour and bits and peices here and there in Japanese. I wanted to see if Disney changed anything.
Again, I just meant it was weird that you only watch it in Japanese.
1 & 3 - OK, but that's only for Nausicaa. Most of anime are dubbed by unknown, bad actors.
2- Jesus. If I was dead right now, I would spin on my grave! Don't say that to an anime fan, evern!
4- Uh there's this thing called subtitles...
I only watch it in japanese NOT because it's in japanese, but because I want to watch it the way it was made. For the same reasons I want the O-OT back, I want to watch my anime in japanese, with subtitles (one day I'll be able to watch without subtitles
In some rare, rare ocasions, the dubbing is actually very good (Neon Genesis Evangelion's brazillian version as an example), but still... I don't care if the actors in the dubbed version are better, I just want to see it the way it was originally broadcast - that's why I'm also figthing against the changed being made on the Evangelion episodes for the DVD releases...
BTW I have seen an episode of Dragon Ball Z dubbed in english, the way it was broadcast over there, and I felt like jumping out of the window... What was up with that uh... person doing Freeza's voice?!
