I was going to start watching The Undiscovered Country, but then I was finally able to see:

Star Trek Beyond (2016)

Loved it. Not as good as Into Darkness, but better than the 2009 one. The cast was spectacular as always, and I loved the expanded role for Bones McCoy, and his relationship with Spock. The action scenes were stunning, loved the direction of those, and Simon Pegg and Doug Jung’s script was amusing and interesting. Some parts were a little predictable, and a little cheesy, and the villain was quite underdeveloped, but overall I loved it.

As of now I’ve started watching Star Trek VI, I’ll probably post my thoughts soon.
