how to make a fan edit?

i am wanting to make my first ever fanedit of xmen by adding the extended scenes into their right places into the film. ive never done anything like this before so all help would be greatly appreciated. yes i do own the original blu ray thank you.

i just want to have a proper extended cut of the film and not have to watch it the way its on blu ray. to be able to watch it seamlesly

Am curious also, this film seems perfect for an edit to add some of the deleted scenes and some re-ordering
