Well…the stuff they’ve done in The Killing Joke adaptation…is truly awful…like not only ill fitting and wrong…but just horrible…why do they continue to make these?
First they began by merely repurposing stories into simplified shortened DTV releases but this is…just look up the multitudes of clips all over YouTube. It’s bad enough that they’ve cheapened Babs in such a way but…who in the world thought this stuff was a good idea? The dialogue is ATROCIOUS!

A stupid fight between comrades that sounds more akin to Robin chafing under Bruce’s control suddenly has costumes flying and sex on a rooftop?? WHAAAAAT just happened???

I gave up. I really did. I’ve never been a huge fan of the book anyway for what it did to Babs, and it’s really overrated. But still it would have been perfect for Conroy and Hamill to have another epic go round…so WHY do this to pad it so agonizingly?
