I like it a lot, I would just recommend changing the last paragraph to something more like:

As the First Order prepares a crippling blow to the New Republic, their dark enforces gather above the graveyard planet of Jakku, where Leia has just sent ace pilot of the Resistance Poe Dameron, to discover the key to Luke’s location…
