I honestly don’t even care about the colors on the star wars blu rays, they look fine to me. The only thing that bothers me about the picture on them is that the contrast needs a bump up. (For reference notice that the lightsaber cores are sometimes not completely white like they are on older transfers.)
For my own personal viewing I use a version I cooked up myself using the blu rays video with boosted contrast then edited to the theatrical cuts timing and runtime but keeping the new visuals.
Also for some shots I Use telecines versions of the blu rays with re-rotoscoped lightsaber blades and lasers, and a few other fixes. (Can’t believe those didn’t get more attention He did the whole trilogy in full 1080p hd quality. I mean it’s not like on the level of detail as adywans but it fixes the more obvious flaws and he did the whole trilogy.)
