That is the only way to fix the prequels.

Really, though, I’m just not a big fan of prequels in general so I never thought this was a story that even needed to be told. There are two problems common to all prequels:

You already know how the story is going to end. Not only does this make for some pretty unsuspenseful watching, the fact that it HAS to end in a set spot and things HAVE to play out a certain way to be consistent also limits the filmmakers’ options greatly, and thus the films inevitably feel much less creatively inspired than the original films did.
You will constantly be comparing the events of the prequels to your own ideas of how they played out in your head. Usually your head wins out, and that was especially the case with Star Wars.
