You may be waiting a long time.....

Last time I spoke with Magfan his hands were full with other film projects that are a bit more vital at this time and he's been dedicating all his time into these other projects.

When it and if he does release a second version I'm sure that we will all be the first to know!

Regarding Magnoliafan's Balance of the Force,

Hi all -

I've had fun reading this thread into the wee hours of the night... MagFan's edits are pretty cool, but I have to say I probably prefer ADigitalMan's subtitles for BOTF. Any chance someone has a DVDR copy of that version available? Yes, my PM's are on (that's private messages, not PMS...)

The SRT files are actually posted earlier in this very thread. I'd recommend reading backwards from here to find the most recent ones.

Don't know of any alternatives, but you could do a set. I found those subtitles so perfect that I didn't want to touch them. You could, of course. I recommend using SubRip to OCR the subtitle files into Text. Then you can edit the text and re-generate using the method of your choice. Jar Jar's speech before the senate is so damn good in TCW.

Hi everyone.

I'm new to the forums, but before coming here I had heard rumors of remakes for the prequels. It's really nice to see that not only is it true, but that people consider them so much better than the original movies. Much thanks to Magnolia Fan for backing up everyone's critiques and actually making them better.

I've just finished reading this whole thread, and I've got to get a copy of these DVDs. Rikter, I've checked out your website, and was wanting to know if you were still sending out copies. I'd very much like to check out MF's BotF with Digital Man's subs, and MF's TCW. I've turned my pm's on as well.

Hey guys, I'll be getting the discs soon and can send copies out then, so if you haven't heard from anyone else offering to do so, there's another way you can get a copy of them just for now. Go to www.myspleen.com, create an account, make sure you have a torrent program (there's a good tutorial on there for getting bittorrent programs) and do a search for Magnolia Fan. I'll post up once I have my copies for anyone that needs one then.

I've watched both Magnoliafan edits (thanks to Spleen and Rikter) and I too would love to have a DVD quality set of them as opposed to Xvid.

So that I don't have to pester Mr. Blaksvn (who I am sure gets pestered quite enough ) could anyone who could help hook me up (I'm happy to provide blanks, self-addressed stamped envelopes, etc) either email or PM me?

I've read reports on NewsAskew.com that he is not MagnoliaFan and has never had any part in the editing of any SW film. Although he is rumored to be working with Mark Hamill on a new SW TV show. As for time on his hands... who the hell really knows? He's doing the Comiccon circuit right now. He's also been rumored to be working on all kinds of different films right now. It seems like it's a different film each week. First he was attached to Fletch Won and that went by the wayside for The Green Hornet and that went by the wayside for Clerks 2: The Passion of the Clerks. Now it seems like none of them are going to happen although you hear little bits of development news for each of those three. For example, he's no longer directing Hornet but is involved in the scriptwriting. Also, it's rumored that he really wants Zach Braff to play Fletch. Then you hear new bits of info about Clerks 2. Who knows what the hell his next project truly is. Maybe he did do the MagnoliaFan edits. Maybe he really does have the time.
