My first sentence referred to the new Game Informer which is where the majority of this information came from.

Anyway, I have to disagree a bit. Nintendo's console fan base is shrinking to tiny proportions. The GC (which I own and love) is a distant third behind the other two, and the only reason it has stayed in the game is the $99 price point. The Revolution controllers will be totally touch screen. It's been confirmed by insiders. To me, this signals that Nintendo hasn't learned its lesson, and that is that they need to cater to the needs of gamers, rather than dictate to consumers what consumers want. I see the touch screen as little more than a lame gimmick to differentiate their console from the others, when what they should be doing is conducting market research to see what exactly it is people want. Just my opinion.
