I guess I didn’t consider the idea that an atheist kid would have die hard Christian parents that would send them to a Church based summer camp that a lot of Christian kids don’t even go to. Sorry.
I don’t think the scenario is completely implausible, I just didn’t think about it because it’s not something I would expect to occur very often.
I’m sure there are some wackos that would do something even more drastic. I’m glad even something like that is a rarity.
