There's no way that's going to be the only think he touches if all CG work and effects are going to have to be done again from the ground up.
Besides, for got sakes why? 3d movies have never been anything more than a novelty at best in its hayday. It's not something that was actually done on GOOD movies. Let alone after the fact.
It's just a further sign on insanity and strip mining of a classic by a man who no longer has any talent left.

If he hates the original trilogy that much, why doesn't he scrap it and just do a remake with new actors? There has to be more profit in that for him and he could make any changes he wants from the beginning.
