How often does this dude flood the main page with that sort of nonsense? This is the first time I’ve seen it.
Check out General Star Wars Discussion right now, and this CLIPPED
Jesus fucking Christ man remove that link, or at least put a warning. I’m at work! That could totally fuck someone over, I didn’t know he was posting porn I just saw the crazy thread titles.
Fuck me man.
I work at a mental health charity and while I was waiting for one of my clients to turn up I thought I’d check up on the site for a bit. It was lucky nobody saw what was calculatedly offensive material. I worry about the mental health if someone who repeatedly does this sort out of thing.
Well, I worry more about my job than that pathetic fuckface Wario64 or whatever the fuck he’s called. I go to like 3 websites at work, this being one of them - I had assumed it was safe but I suppose that’s my mistake. I imagine if IT was like “Well let’s see what he’s looking at today…” and then bam, pictures of bizarre cartoon porn starts coming up on my traffic I can’t imagine they’d be happy. My explanation would be equally confusing “No you don’t understand, I wasn’t looking for bizarre cartoon porn I was just checking out a Star Wars site and some sad lonely kid posted all those pics.” It’s no one’s fault but his, I don’t know how you’d prevent such a thing… it’s the digital equivalent of someone willing to key a stranger’s car for no good reason whatsoever. It’s just tremendously annoying.
I think his mental health is pretty clear - he’s probably alone, on the pathetic side, and desperate for any sort of attention even if it’s negative. There’s nothing I can do about that. My employment health is of greater concern to me.
While I do feel the slightest bit of emotion for this person, I do agree that this is unacceptable behavior. It is conceivable that someone could have lost their job for this. I think with most trolls, the intention is clear: Mild entertainment value for not that much effort. That’s what has happened here. The entertainment was getting a rise out of people. It’s sad, but that doesn’t make it acceptable.
