Edit/Update: There was a little more to the adjustments than I initially thought. ANH needed two lines removed, one altered, and the “He’s on your tail” line added. I had to basically google translate that line, but I compared with an earlier line of “You’ve got one on your tail.” to make sure the translations were fairly close, as those lines are not necessarily directly/literally translated in other languages.

For ESB, I was able to use Project Threepio to get translations of the original Emperor scene for most languages, but a couple had to be reconstructed from the '04 version. It wasn’t that hard since most of the lines are identical. I just needed to google translate the line “Yes, my master.” which, again is very similar to an earlier line: “What is thy bidding, my master.” I really just needed to translate the word “Yes”.

I’m still working on ROTJ, as I have no video reference for the burnt in Jabba subs, I’m going to base their timings on the Despecialized timings so that I can make sure the foreign subs don’t overlap and become illegible. Jedi’s subs were the easiest to conform as they just required the removal of Darth Vader’s “No’s” before saving Luke and the “Weesa Free!” gungan line at the end of the film.

Nearly done now, but I’m still looking for Castillian Spanish and if possible Slovakian (or anything else, really, if possible!).
