Yeah, she is Oliver Queen's girlfriend throughout the Grell run(not sure about the Kevin Smith or the Current run as I haven't got around to it yet).

I thought Black Canary was the daughter/offshoot of an earlier character from what most fan boys call the "Golden Age" without specifically being a character most relevant to the adventures of Green Arrow.

Something like that, she really doesn't play a *huge* role in the GA series from what I've read. She is more of a JLA or JSA character.

JSA is an acronym for Justice Society America, which was the predecessor of the Justice League America team (or JLA for short). JSA consisted of mostly "Golden Age" characters like the original versions of the Flash (Jay Garrick - who wore a silver Mercury helmet) and the Green Lantern (Alan Scott - the blonde guy with the purple cape) as well as lesser knowns like Dr. Fate (who looked kind of like a blue and gold version of Darth Vader), and the 1940s versions of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.

I can't really think of a good candidate for Tony Stark. Thinking about it, I reckon Tom Cruise would be pretty good actually, but that's not gonna happen. War Machine would be Samuel L I guess.

Actually, Maybe Timothy Dalton would make a good Stark... Bit old now though.

I haven't seen Timohty Dalton in 10 years, so I'm not sure how does he look right now.

Have any of you read "Marvels"? He looked just like T. Dalton in it!

I hear that Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has officially signed on to do a movie about the life, times and misadventures of Wonder Woman.

I honestly don't know if this is good or bad.

The idea has potential; if anyone could bring the strong heroine out of WW without making her look like a strident feminist. Joss would be the one.

I guess I'm fine with the Joss thing so long as he doesn't use Sarah Michelle Gellar as Wonder Woman. Personally I'd pick Monica Bellucci to play Wonder Woman (with a little weight training) but that's just me.

I just hope in general that they hire a woman who's at least 30. Wonder Woman is, after all, a WOMAN.

You know, that Brandon Routh guy that Bryan Singer cast to play Superman looks more like Nightwing/Dick Grayson to me, with a bit of a Kyle Rayner/Green Lantern 3 look on the side than Superman. That's not a criticism, just a comment.
