Just a quick update, the ROTJ Special Features 25GB disc is almost uploaded, so PM me if interested.

Also, I have been pointed in the direction of an HD remaster of the Return of the Jedi Re-release trailer, used for the Main Menu, so I’m going to create one final version of ROTJ BD50 and BD25, with the HD version of the trailer for the Main Menu.

It’s obviously not a big change, so you may want to stick with your current version if already downloaded etc, but I will upload the HD main menu version for those who want it as an alternative. This will take some time though, as all of the Documentary discs are still in the queue to be uploaded also. Will update as they become available.

I am just glad I didn’t burn my copy yet.

Has anyone used binary diff and patch tools before? Might make this easier for those who already downloaded the 50gb ISO http://www.daemonology.net/bsdiff/
(I am curious if an updated torrent will also hash most of the preexisting file, probably not if the file is larger and all the data offsets change)

JEDIT:
ok, just figured out that bsdiff while very efficient in the delta file size, does all its calculations in memory, so i think it would require over 900 GB of ram to do this task! Perhaps this tool would be better: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xdelta. njvc, any interest in attempting this? I am thinking it would let you get the update out via Mega that much faster if you don’t have to upload a 50 GB file again. obviously you would want to compute a sha256sum or similar has of the updated ISO before doing this (and have a backup of it), so that we can all verify this works.
