Its not their fault your roommate didn’t read.
Just to clarify he isn’t my room mate as we don’t live in a room and no longer even sleep in the same bed, it’s a complex relationship. But people shouldn’t be obliged to scrutinise every purchase especially if you have done so before. Similarly I shouldn’t have to scrutinise every item in the fridge after a fourteen year relationship where my one and only demand is no corpses in the fridge. In ASDA which I am boycotting because of their scare tactics during the Scottish Referendum their pork sausages are in a blue tin and are a significant distance away from the veggie sausages in a green tin. In Tescos both are in blue tins and right next to each other. It would be very easy to pick one up in error or for them to be jumbled up on the shelf in error they look almost identical. Lots of time and effort goes into store layout design. As a teen the worst job I ever had was working at 7Eleven. There the managers would gauge the angle of the crisp packets with a protractor to make sure the store was keeping to it’s franchise guidelines. It wouldn’t hurt Tescos to make the tins a different colour and position them in different locations on the shelf. Warb may find it amusing and I bare him no ill will for it but to people who make these sorts of decisions ethically, medically or because of religion it can be quite upsetting.
