So … for those of you who don’t know it yet, they made Sulu gay in Beyond. I thought it’s a horrible idea and it looks like George Takei agrees. Why do they have to do things like that? I don’t understand this type of writing. If they wanted to have a gay character, they could create a new gay crew member or multiple members.
