I think this is about as good a time as any to reiterate that I, personally, am not fond of highly sexualized images of women in comic books. Since the '80s/'90s, comic book women have become more and more “idealized” by the artists who draw them, all the way to the point where most of them look and dress like anorexic strippers with fake tits. I wish this would end, that superheroines/supervillainesses would be drawn with more diverse/realistic body types. If I were a comic book artist, I assure you this is what I would do.
But if anyone criticizes me – or anyone else here – of misogyny for posting a drawing of a woman – not because we like the way her body is drawn, but because we like the clothing she is wearing – I’m going to tell them to take their self-righteous, condescending bullshit and go straight to the Ninth Circle of Hell.

I’ve only recently gotten into comics (within the past year) and you gotta admit that some of the female art is absolutely ridiculously exploitative. I mean when you have She-Hulk in the middle of dressing not three pages after her friend dematerializes all of her clothes, you gotta wonder.
That said, I do still enjoy my comics. Immature with goofy art, sure, but I wouldn’t discount them as garbage because of that.
