Maybe I should have grabbed a woman’s ass. If I’m gonna get criticized for my actions, at least it should be for actions that are actually worthy of criticism.

Please do not do that.

*sigh* I wasn’t planning on it. I’m too socially awkward to make the attempt, anyway.

You also might get arrested depending on the context. I don’t want that to happen.

We’re criticizing the actions, not the people.

Yeah well, seeing as how everything you say is rife with transphobic undertones, I’m not surprised.

Really? I mean, everybody has subconscious biases. I guess I’ve just not seen some of these yet. What makes you think I’m transphobic?

See? It’s startling to be accused of doing something that you don’t do.

I mean, I certainly have done things that racist and mysgonist and transphobic. Everybody does those things.

I think this is about as good a time as any to reiterate that I, personally, am not fond of highly sexualized images of women in comic books. Since the '80s/'90s, comic book women have become more and more “idealized” by the artists who draw them, all the way to the point where most of them look and dress like anorexic strippers with fake tits. I wish this would end, that superheroines/supervillainesses would be drawn with more diverse/realistic body types. If I were a comic book artist, I assure you this is what I would do.

But if anyone criticizes me – or anyone else here – of misogyny for posting a drawing of a woman – not because we like the way her body is drawn, but because we like the clothing she is wearing – I’m going to tell them to take their self-righteous, condescending bullshit and go straight to the Ninth Circle of Hell.

So how is it in Hell? I’d like to know before I go there.

I’ll add that to my reading list.

Lol, she wasn’t wearing clothing! She was a purple nude sticking her “titties and ass” out.

You might not realize this, but there’s a difference between misogyny and sexual harassment.

Which is why it’s useless to call people immature misogynists. It only puts them on the defensive, and they won’t be receptive to anything you (not you specifically, the ‘royal you’) say after that.

Anyone who’s going to call me a misogynist can go fuck themselves.

There are very few people who can be called a misogynist or a racist. For most other people, you really have to say that a certain action or viewpoint is misogynistic. Don’t criticize the person in most cases.

So…love the sinner, hate the sin?

Anyone who has time to be offended by a cartoon is one of the most privileged people on earth.

Yep, whiny brats who bitch about comic books that they’ve never read are privileged as all hell.

Just because there are greater problems in the world doesn’t preclude smaller problems from existing.

“Hey, have you heard that people are trying to restore the original versions of the Star Wars movies? Yeah, why are they wasting their time on a stupid kid’s movie when they could be solving world hunger…”

Yeah, but I don’t pretend to be oppressed by the Star Wars films.

Why would I read that garbage? I’m an adult.

You’re a conceited asshole who thinks he’s better than everyone else.

No, but I am better than people who like sexist portrayals of women and think THEY’RE the persecuted ones.

Yeah, continue your condescending missing-the-forest-for-the-trees schtick.
