Info: The Force Awakens' End Credits theme Changed on blu ray

You will notice and remember that when the movie was played in theaters, when Rey’s theme came on at the end credits, it was a different variation to the original theme for Rey. If you have access to the soundtrack go to jedi steps / finale and when you go to 3 minutes and 30 second you’ll notice it’s what was played in the theater. yet when the end credits roll onto the screen from the blu ray, it’s just the default theme for rey without any variation. John Williams’ end credits at least for the original trilogy were my favorite due to the variation of tone to each theme played in the movie. just a thought and even if not a big deal, would love to work with someone to try and get it back to the theatrical music cue onto dvd just for fun! let me know!

So far the only changes seem to be burned in subtitles (kind of inappropriate for non-English speaking countries) and the audio mix. No one has found any visual differences so far.

Yeah no visual changes for sure, i don’t know just that 30 seconds of music really elevates the whole experience at least for me you know.

No visual differences from the United States theatrical version, however I’ve spoken to someone (who will remain anonymous) who confirmed for me there were some very minor visual differences between the theatrical presentations around the world.

The version screened in the US is the version on the bluray

I heard something about the flags at maz’s castle being revised but I’m not so sure. All I noticed was the musical cue from the end credits

Regarding the flag “controversy”, I think the flags were changed from the trailer to the theatrical release. But they’re unchanged from theatrical to Blu-ray.

Actually the end credits on the CD is different again to what happened theatrically. There are three versions of the end credits. Soundtrack CD, FYC promo CD (which is the same as what was in cinemas) and then the Blu-Ray end credits. Dem’s a lot of credits! Crazy.

You actually are correct I forgot about the oscar promo album, that version is the one that was played theatrically.

I think it’s just time to admit that we didn’t get screwed over with the TFA Blu Ray. Sorry everybody.

I meant mostly transfer wise. But yeah, the deleted scenes and trailers are sorely missed, and it could really use a commentary track.
