Yep. All kinds of articles hailing the black/Hispanic/homosexual Spidey. They killed-off Peter Parker, too.
I never had the chance to exercise my prodigious second grade skills, as I made a point of making no effort to find this new series they were touting.
Seems it might have been a trial balloon pandering to the homo-militant predators who target the sexuality and sense of self of children and confused teens, or an opportunity to once again VICIOUSLY demonize anyone who would DARE have the slightest question about the way the media attacks perceptions to destroy normal and natural human existence. My guess would be it started as a pandering trial balloon, and when the criticism started they highlighted the worst of it in their attacks.
It’s outrageous to think we should just leave the established perceptions alone, help rather than destroy the efforts of children and teens to reach adulthood with a healthy and natural sense of self intact, and just create special content for the adults who must have that sort of thing.

I love the fact that at least in some scenes it will be a guy in a costume and not CG unlike in “other” movies
Looper was a good movie.
I wonder if he’ll have that backpack a lot. Like, you know, not just shedding his clothes on the ground to be found by someone who recognizes the clothes and now thinks Peter is running around without any clothes on. However, he might be able to be IDed by his backpack. “I know a kid who talks like that who is that size who acts weird and carries that same backpack!”

I can live with the mask. It’s all the lines everywhere which bug me; it makes the costume too busy.
In the comics, didn’t he used to just spin his civvies into a web sack, and stick it on the side of a building somewhere when going into action?
