In order to get a perfect score, you must do the following:
- Effectively state claims and acknowledge the opposing claims
- Use an effective organizational strategy
- Use specific and well-chosen facts
- Use words and phrases to connect main ideas
- Provide a strong concluding statement
You will be graded on a 3-point scale. A score of 0 will be awarded if you do not provide an adequate essay within 10 days of the assignment date (Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 6:10 PM), or if the assignment is incomplete. A score of 1 will be awarded if the essay meets some, but not all requirements, or if the essay is late. A score of 2 will be awarded if the essay meets all requirements and was not submitted in late.
