I'm not really into horror movies (nor the Jason movies) but I'm certainly not against it. Could give the series a fresh breath of air. What confuses me is that since Kill Bill 2, I've heard Taratino's next project will be:

1) Kill Bill prequel/sequel
2) "Inglorious Bastards" (WW2 movie)
3) Vega Brothers movie
4) Kung-Fu movie in Mandarin
5) Casino Royal
6) Sin City
7) CSI

Obviously some of these are rumors and others have been refuted, but it just seems like he comes up with an idea for his next project only to have it replaced by a new idea shortly thereafter. Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if 3 weeks from now his next project will be something totally new and Friday the 13th will all but be forgotten.
