That actually looks pretty decent. It's out now here in the States. I also want to see Cabin Fever. Looks like it might be good. Along with the new Bill Murray film Lost in Translation and Nic Cage's Matchstick Men. A heckuva fall so far. Good looking smaller budget films in droves.

I think Nic Cage needs to stick to this sort of quirky role that he excels so well at. Stay away from the big budget actioners that he's been doing. Adaptation was great. This looks incredible. Also liked Leaving Las Vegas and Kiss of Death.

True. He was still pretty quirky in that. But then he tried to be the buff action hero guy and it just wasn't really working all that well. Conair, anyone?

Dirty Pretty Things is good. Stephen Frears is back in My Beautiful Laundrette mode. And I second the whole Nic Cage thing. Adaptation was a good move for him, and Matchstick Men looks to be just as good. Can't wait for Lost in Translation. Really hoping lightning strikes twice for Sofia Coppola, just so she doesn't have to go back to playing one of the Queen's handmaidens in the PT.

Yeah. Sofia's directing, so it looks very pretty, and Bill Murray is cast against Scarlett Johannsen.

Scarlett Johannsen is looking to be one of the better young actresses around. She's pretty picky about her stuff and has never really gone all too commercial which I give her snaps for. Kinda living the Christina Ricci life (well, the CR life of the last five years since she started go nearly 100% low budget). Both are kinda playing the game on their own terms. You gotta respect that.

I really want to see this one as I've made abundantly clear. I also kinda dug Sofia Coppola's debut with the Virgin Suicides. That was a decent film.
