Just looked at it, and it’s off before they cut to him and he turns towards Mace. So you could insert something in there that flickers off? He could even be browsing the forum. 😉

Speaking of that funeral scene, I was planning on doing one of those sniper red dot thingies on Jar Jar if I could figure out how to do it. But what about a view through the scope instead?

If you do a scope, it should be more like the targeting displays previously seen in Star Wars. It can be a very simple graphic that moves or glows when “on target”.
You could also use one the many macrobinocular shots for a template?

It might be fun if the shooter was from another film or television show, something that really shouldn’t fit. Like Roger Moore or Tom Baker.
