That doesn’t sound particularly neutral- it’s an extremely biased point of view. This “everybody wins” thing has begun to fall by the wayside. That was a big thing of the 90’s and 00’s, and we have begun to learn from it (we as in a collective society, not as in my generation). You also have to look at what we’re stuck with, what we’ve inherited from previous generations: wealth inequality, a shrinking middle class, climate change, extreme debt (be it the US nationally, or through student loans), No Child Left Behind and Common Core, wages that don’t reflect necessity, and I’m sure I could come up with more if I thought about it for a while longer. The mentalities that we were brought up with have affected our attitudes in a life-long way. Blaming us for our own upbringing is insulting and ignorant.

My point is that I SHOULD be in the position to be neutral, as I’m not old enough to really be part of the group that put you into what you consider a mess, but I also got through the system before things like No Child Left Behind, etc. really got put into effect. Yet I’m coming down firmly negative on the plight of the Millennial generation (though in all fairness, I’m not praising the previous generations), as there is plenty they can do OTHER THAN bitching about how they can’t do anything because the world that’s been left to them isn’t ideal.
