This happens every time someone extracts the ISO. Why extract it? Why do anything to it?
Honestly, after all the hard work that went into making it a proper blu-ray, it pains me to see people just ripping out the video to make MKVs, but I get it.
Well, it was bound to happen immediately, as people are quite fond of hairy_hen’s 5.1 mix, it is honestly the only way I seriously view the movie these days. I appreciate the effort that went into SSE 1.6 and will archive it in full quality to disc once the last few bugs are worked out, but without the 5.1, it is more of a novelty to me than a completed product I’d watch by default. I know that 5.1 isn’t exactly something that would have gone along with a 35mm print, and that’s fine, though there does frustratingly seem to be room left on the disc to fit it… Anyway, I’ll archive it, but will most likely instead keep handy an extracted '77 crawl MKV with the DTS-HD MA 5.1, for actual viewing.
Not trying to push a point, just saying that not including the 5.1 creates a fervor to rip the GOUT synced movie out and put them together as quickly as possible; which sadly makes the effort of the Blu-ray menus, etc. seem under appreciated, and I feel for you for that.
