Yeah, Chrome won’t let me bypass their filter to visit the site either, and suggests it was hacked.

Does anyone know how to contact them and find out whats going on, does Vinnie still post here.

Okay, now I can too. Except why aren’t the three torrents I was seeding appearing anymore?

Edit: It looks the trackers won’t be online for awhile.

Hi every1,

Last weekend thanks to Dark Jedi I had the pleasure of testing the full release version Team Blu’s “The Warriors” theatrical cut.

To make things short: If you like like “The Warriors” this is the BluRay to get. The movie has 5.1 DD sound (no lossless though) and the picture is excellent and clean (for a 1979 movie)
The xtras are extensive. Lobby cards, press kit, trailer, making of, soundtrack. You could spend ours checking this stuff out.

Chapter menu and French audio track is also included.

Next to “Fright Night 2” this is my favorite Team Blu disc so far.

Get it as soon as it is released. It is most certainly worth it.

Highest possible recommendation.

I have to agree with faust1103. This is a very nice transfer of “The Warriors” Theatrical cut. I’m not sure what the source for this transfer was but it looks pretty much as good as retail. Their is a fine layer of grain and it is beautifully resolved. Also the color, contrast and black level is spot on. If you are a fan of this movie, I highly recommend you grab it as soon as it becomes available.

Hello,
Did anybody know how to get these Blu rays when they are released?

Well I am trying Myspleen again but with the new rules I doubt they will change them to house our non SW stuff, I also tried BitHQ for the hell of it but that Site is still a no go, what does everyone think of Cinematik? you think they would be interested?

Author

Not a member of Cinematik and looks like registration is closed so would have to vote against it unless someone was willing to give me an invite or Usenet is still on the table as a second choice as then I can get them there.

I don’t think much of Cinematik either 😦.

I would prefer MySpleen (if blurg is no longer an option).

Well if they would ever get back to me one way or another at Spleen this would be great, at the moment I am still waiting on a response, but my goal here is to get an uploader for Usenet and I will cover the torrent.

The Spleen and BluRG would be my picks as well. BluRG seems like the obvious choice as most of us that are interested in these releases are already members, they have a solid community that won’t immediately take down your projects, and there are a lot of solid members there with quick connections. Given that you’re looking for donations for projects again, I don’t know why you couldn’t ask for Donations to help fund a permanent seedbox there. I would assume that with your announced project slate, you could find enough people willing to pay to keep the box up for a while.

Donations are slim to none really, we needed them for materials and our art guy is even making something special for those that donate, for The Warriors we had 2 people help out, that is it, 1 member from here and 1 from horrordigital.

I mentioned in another thread that with the crazy stuff we have coming up I am going to have to rebuild and upgrade my rig, hope this happens but I will not hold my breath lol.

OK I am burning Discs and getting stuff ready for the 2 that have helped us so far with much needed materials, so I just wanted to check 1 more time and see if anyone else is interested in helping us out? we have a lot coming and I will need blanks and such for testing, if interested please PM and we can work something out, and only serious inquiries please, I have had a lot of PM’s but none have panned out and this takes a lot of time to try and line up for nothing to happen lol.

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Also who here is really good at Usenet posting? I tried contacting Darth Mallwalker but got no response, I am looking for an official Team Blu Usenet uploader that can take care of this for us and then I will take care of torrenting once I find us a Home.

Thanks

I am in talks with Spleen and hopefully if all works out that will be our new “EXCLUSIVE” home again for good this time, fingers crossed.

This is completely unrelated to the current projects, but I thought I’d share that today over my lunch break I decided to walk to a near by antique store and poke around. I was there scouting for Beer signs for my dad’s shop for his birthday/christmas. I have been to this particular store a few times in the past, but today I stumbled across a room I had missed during my previous visits. Inside were a ton of old 80’s movie posters, lobby cards, and other related stuff. Two of the posters were for Team Blu Projects. Sheena, and Private School. These were the original folded posters buried there for who know how long. Since they were folded I didn’t open them up to fully inspect them, but included in the protective packaging were photos of the poster prior to storage. Both looked to be in pretty solid condition. I didn’t purchase anything today (Prices ranged from $8 - $25) since I had to walk back to work… but I will likely go back in the near future with my vehicle and pick up several that I saw there.

What is the advantage of being “EXCLUSIVE”?

Damn how much for the Sheena poster? I would LOVE to get that.

Since most were of the folded variety, the majority were priced between $8 and $10. I plan on stopping back in a week or two and possibly picking up a few when I can park near the store. I’ll check at that time and let you know condition and cost. I had considered going back this week, but the Arrow Sale took a much bigger part of my budget than I intended so I need to wait until next payday.

and then theres this jerk, who is actually promoting the sale of these discs on his youtube channel!
https://youtu.be/P7OF0t0duhc
He claims that they are a legit company lol!

“They’re a start-up company!”

He said he bought his Friday the 13th from eBay and that the reason there’s no artwork on the disc is because it’s a small company trying to get started. He’s clearly just an enthusiastic film-lover but being THAT ignorant is appallingly hilarious.
