I just dropped by to throw in some facts. Films cannot be objectively bad or good as there is no objective measure for that. And yes, opinion cannot be wrong or right. And the person who came up with the dumb example of moon landing dispute should better educate himself on a difference between an opinion and a claim.
Yes, thank you. You can have your own opinions, but you can’t have your own facts. Your view on the quality of a movie is an opinion. It’s subjective and there is no way to measure it as objectively true or not. But your view on the actuality of the moon landing is, as you put it, a “claim” that is dependent on the facts. It’s either true or not true, because either the moon landing happened (it did) or it didn’t happen. That is a matter of fact, not opinion. Whether Revenge of the Sith is a good movie or not is not.
