PixelMagic did a great job on this trailer. You should check it out!

The links for both the small and large versions are up on TFN. Here is the link to thread with all of the info.

PixelMagic's "Breathing" Episode III Fan Trailer.

If this is what the official movie looks like, then I may just be excited about Star Wars again.

Is that the actual trailer that's supposed to go up on march 10th? It looks to me like its all the footage that was actually shot. Looks cool!

"I wish my lawn was emo so it would cut itself." -sybeman
"You know, putting animals in the microwave is not a good idea. I had to learn that one the hard way." -seanwookie

I think he just culled it from the actual trailer.

It was nice and brief, but the audio dropout from scene to scene was a bit annoying.

Not a problem for me.

I thought the trailer did a better job of showing what the movie is about than the Lucasfilm trailer, which basically showed two second clips from various parts of the movie.

Some of the shots clearly came from some source other than the teaser. Anybody know what was the source of those shots?

Well, according to this thread some of the shots were fan-made, like the Grievous model (made by robi obi)

there was a fan made trailer for episode II that was done using scenes of the actors from other movies...im sure its still floating around on some website out there...I have a copy of it and if people want to see it and someone has some space they can host it i can send it to them.

i havent watched this trailer yet, but its possible they did a similar thing to get some of the scenes shown

I saw that one and, while it was cool, it doesn't come close to comparing to the fan-made shots of Grievous. That is just spectacular.

The link for the trailer on Pixelmasgic's website has been shutdown for the time being. He posted recently about using twice his allotted amount of bandwidth for the month due to the traffic that he got after he released his trailer. He doesn't want to get hit with any more possible fees, so he took his site down for awhile. If you haven't downloaded the trailer yet, try downloading it from one of the mirrors that are posted in the thread over at TFN.

That trailer is a lot better than Lucas films's!

Oh please! It's stupid statements like this that make taking the whiny, disgruntled fanboys seriously. They just make sh*t up to take potshots at Lucas because they're mad at him. Even a retarded person wouldn't make such a ridiculous statement.

Wow, talk about being a "whiny, disgruntled fanboy." You should just relax and with hold from insulting other board members here just because they have a dissenting view from your own. I, myself found the old Lucasfilm teaser fairly underwhelming so it's not difficult for this well-made fan teaser to impress, although I'm still looking forward to the full trailer. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so there's no need for such disparaging remarks.
The original Star Wars trilogy: Our cultural history deserves to be preserved and should be available to the public like all great works of art!
