It still happens with technology. My Sony DVD player, when I click the stop button, says, "Disc will restarts..." I'm sure there are still typos in games, too, but you're reading them so quickly that you don't notice. No moreso than any other game that is produced stateside. Hell, we typo stuff all the time.
