around 01:10:00 there’s an audio glitch when CPO says “that isn’t very reassuring” instead of the word “that” there’s a tiny piece of audio score from probably a different part of the film.Presumably that is in the mono mix? The mono mix was missing a number of frames throughout the film. I did my best to patch the holes using the existing version of the mono mix, but I’m not as good at working with audio tracks as I am with video, so apologies for that.
Since it looks like you’ll be doing one last reencode and compiling the BD again, with all the “unknowns” about the included audio it might be a good time to consider hairy_hen’s thorough '77 stereo audio restoration. I agree his 5.1 mix would be out of scope (and I’d like to be clear I’m not asking for that) for a 35mm preservation, but I would encourage you to look at some of the options available, especially if there are odd issues cropping up in this laserdisc audio source you’ve chosen (beyond all the distortion, etc., issues hairy_hen already mentioned about this same source).
I’ll do that.
