StarTrek Movie 11 is a go...

As many of you said regarding Enterprise:

Its time for them to give Star Trek a break.

Think about it: There has been a new Star Trek episode on TV weekly (excluding off-seasons) practically since the late-80s.

Enterprise was 87-94.
DS9 was 93-99.
Voyager ran from 95-2001.
Enterprise started in 2001.

Its rumoured that it will feature a cast that has never been seen on a TV trek before, so who knows what will happen.

Will this movie break the curse and hit it out of the park?!

Definitely not.

Starkiller, did you mean that The Next Generation ran from 87-94?

Enterprise ends this year, so it will be given a break.

JediRandy: They’re certainly beyond any repair you’re capable of making.

Go-Mer-Tonic: I can’t say I find that very disappointing.

Unless this movie 11 comes to fruition. At this point in the game, it will just be another nail in the coffin.

What my eyes read: "There will be another Star Trek movie"

Sounds inside my head:

* Crickets
* A man coughing
* After 15 seconds, a church bell can be heard far, far away
* A bird
* Crickets never really stop
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

Yes i did. Was thinking about doing the reverse order (newest to oldest), but changed in the middle without fixing things.

You're a slacker. Just like your father before you. He was a slacker, too.

Read what I wrote about the Ewoks movies in the General Star Wars Discussion forum, you'll see I'm not a slacker, I am a GEEK.
There's no way a slacker could be a geek.

I'm just a little scatter-brained, that's all. I'm a scatter-brained geek.

BTW: I bought that collection about a month ago, watched the 3rd film on Sunday.

Let me guess, when it was on sale for $19.98 at Best Buy?

Yessiree.
Was tempted a couple times before that to get it, but the $20 was just too good a price.
...
(goes off on a tangent)
Hey, its only 2 weeks before the Star Trek: First Contact SE comes out.
I'm getting that, Hogan's Heroes Season 1, Aladdin (last of the good Disney full-length animated) and Love Happy to complete my Marx Brothers DVD collection.

We took advantage of the sale to buy it for my brother in law for his birthday.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

Yeah, the rumor is that they were clearing the shelves for the 20th anniversary rerelease this year. Still no confirmation, but the rumor makes sense.

I think you meant 25th anniversary, since ST:TMP was released in 1979.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

No, I meant 20th anniversary. Starkiller and I have been talking about Back to the Future series. Ever since my "slacker" comment and then Starkiller said he watched the third movie on Sunday. It was the BTTF series that was $20, not Star Trek.

We are on the same wavelength here, right Starkiller?
