Because I’m making a general comment about a belief that is stupid. I can’t address every single persons personal interpretation. So I make my comments about the idea of “God” that is most widely accepted.
Most widely accepted idea of God? And how, pray tell, did you come to the conclusion that this is the most widely accepted idea of God? Did you read any polls, any statistics which gauged how many Christians were hyperliteralists? Or is this just you making an assumption based on Hollywood Christianity and all the hardcore fundagelical loudmouths who go out of their way to draw attention towards themselves?
