Think about it: There has been a new Star Trek episode on TV weekly (excluding off-seasons) practically since the late-80s.

Enterprise was 87-94.
DS9 was 93-99.
Voyager ran from 95-2001.
Enterprise started in 2001"

Enterprise ends this year, so it will be given a break.
